Hey guy I was told breastfeeding was like a natural birth control.. So now that my baby will soon be a year me and my husband are trying again for a boy but can't seem to get pregnant ( been tryn for 5 months) but I'm also still breastfeeding .. Has anyone gotten pregnant while still breastfeeding?

@kmally, I got mine back when she was 3 months we start tryn when she was 6 months but nothing yet. 😕
I really appreciate it trying to ween her off but the crying is hard to deal with
I got my period back but 3 of my friends did not.
I did :) lol. And so did 5 of my friends at almost the same time lol!
I read it was only an effective birth control only if you are ebf, haven't gotten your period & for the first 6 months only.
breastfeeding is a effective birth control if you're exclusively breastfeeding. try giving him pumped milk in a bottle or sippy for maybe 2 feedings a day, but nurse for the other feedings. especially morning and night feedings. that may help you start ovulating again.
they told me aft the hospital that if you nurse and dont get your period you wont get pregnant but if you nurse and do get your period you can get pregnant
