Is there a way you can check your cervix yourself ?? I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow and my doctor hasn't check me once. I'm getting so irritated because I just want to know if I'm making any progress. It annoys me how other girls are being checked at 37 weeks and I'm almost 39 weeks and haven't been checked yet.

@kclaireeabbey, they should have but I'm sure next appointment they will, I know with my first I got checked when I was 39+ 3 days because he knew I wouldn't open up until I was 40 weeks, I ended up having my first at 41 weeks!

if it's your first they usually don't check until 38/39 weeks because some doctors believe ftms don't deliver early.
I only have to ask.. I got checked at 33 weeks, I'll get checked next week when they do the strep b and every week after.
@kclaireeabbey, I would've made them yet me ! Smh I don't see why they wouldn't your almost near.. You should've told them you been having contraction

What week did your OB check your cervix? I'm 38 weeks soon 39 and they haven't checked me at all ....
Is it true that the law has changed about u can't have a baby before 39 weeks unless it's something wrong because my doctor told me this today that they can't induce me until I'm 39 weeks and that's with me having mild contractions and all And I'm 6cm
Well called my doctor about some pressure and other things and they're having me come in to get checked for dilation which they normally don't check for until 38 weeks and I'm only 36! 😰I'm a bit nervous!

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week.
