So I'm scheduled to have my baby on March 28th, but yesterday my doctor said that my amniotic fluid is low and my blood pressure is high and I'm 50% effaced and baby's head is at a -1 so she advised I go ahead and stop working now. But I'm soooo not ready to! I planned on working up until I had the baby because I'm still kind of new at my company I only get the minimum 8 weeks post c section and I wanted every single day I take off to be with the baby. I don't need to waste it "resting".. I'm sad and it's only 2 weeks but that's a week and a half I could have with the baby :(

you can get 12weeks. ask your ob about it. I was working with my second and my doctor informed me that typically its 6-8weeks, but you can actually get 12. I had a normal natural birth and got the 12 weeks since that's what my ob put in the paper work for my leave papers.

maybe ask to be induced early? explain your situation and maybe your doctor will take you early.
