I googled why my baby latches and unlatches, flairs her arms around when breastfeeding, and pulls my nipple etc and it all says she's having nipple confusion! I don't even bottle feed her my breastmilk anymore, I strictly breastfeed ❤ How is this possible. 😩😩

Melody never had bottles, and she did this! It can be many things, not just nipple confusion! She could be frustrated waiting for the let down, or the opposite, she could be frustrated at your let down going too fast! I think it was a combination of both with Melody, she was used to me being engorged ALL THE TIME so when my supply evened out and I wasn't engorged in the evenings anymore it frustrated her that she had to work for it lol and then when the let down came, she'd do it again and splutter and cough, too, and get mad lol....this was also during a big growth spurt, so that could have explained it as well! Sometimes they just go through a phase where they get mad at booby! The key is persistence, and patience! If you both are getting frustrated, then take a break for 10 to 20 mins until you both calm down a bit, distract her and make her smile, then try again! After a week or two of this flailing and popping on and off she got over it...she's done this once or twice more since then, always during her wonder weeks! I think it's a d

Yeah, most likely it's because she's waiting for s let down. My son does it too and it's either that or he has to poop lol

@peaceinfall, yes no problem. its better for her to not take the bottle than the boob! now I feel like I'm gonna have to pump and feed bottle again! 😩😩😂

@kattastrophe, oh that could be possible hun... but dang she does it for a good 5-10 mins til I eventually get frustrated too and take her off completely then try again in a bit ):

my daughter does that too, does she do it before or after the letdown? sometimes I don't letdown fast enough and she gets frustrated.
