my baby is 3 weeks old I try and keep under her neck as clean and dry as possible , we have been putting baby powder under it because they say that helps keep it dry and soaks up the moisture , but in the past couple days she has begun to develop little red bumps under her neck ... any opinions or thoughts on this ?
I don't use powder I just put aveeno lotion on him and wash him with aveeno wash
My daughter had a pretty gross rash in the same spot and I put diaper rash cream on it for a day or two and it cleared up.

use coconut oil and wipe under there with a wipe once a day. Baby may be allergic or have too much product on body!
@shan548, I wasn't using a bib at first but today was the first day I put one on her.
@steph11, okay yeah my sister just told me the same thing about the baby powder. thanks I'll have to try the coconut oil.
you still shouldn't use baby powder it's bad for their lungs. I would use coconut oil it's a natural antifungal. so it if it yeast it won't fed it
@b3autifulm3ss, yes I have heard and that's crazy but it's not Johnson and Johnson it's a knock off brand.
skip the powder for sure. they sweat it just creates a place for bacteria. all natural coconut oil is the best for the skin especially there. wont hurt them and helps moisturize and keep clean and free of yucky cakey chems. super light. love that stuff, use if for so much.
