Ok moms whats your stance on circumcision. Please be nice. Just are you for or against and why.

We are getting our boy circumcised. I let his dad make the decision and he says he wants him circumcised because he is and he wouldn't know how to properly care for an uncircumcised one. My OB told me that the procedure will not cause the baby pain and that if he is circumcised there is a smaller risk of infection down the line. That's just our stance on it, if people don't want to get their sons circumcised I totally understand! It is a very intimate choice and I wold never judge someone for doing one or the other.

my son 6y is not, and if we will ever have boy again we will not circumcising him. There is no medical reasons to do it, it's either religious or cosmetic. All men in my and my hubby family are not, and no one ever have any problems bc of that (infections, pulling, discomfort, someone making fun of them etc.)

I'm think that is everyone private decision to make, and if someone decided to do it, it's your choice. either way you should make good research and talk with your doctor about pros and cons :)

My SO isn't, and he's completely fine. I am though against it , because they are born with it, I don't think it's necessary to do that to a poor baby,

Both my boys were my brother was not till older due to infections ugh my mom wish he hadn't had to go thru severe pain at 25 that unlike a baby he remembers this is my opinion only do as you wish it's your child

my brother didn't have one because his father then got made fun of till he was 13 and my mom took him to get one because he wanted to be normal. it was a terrible experience for him! he stated he wished he would have just had it done when he was a baby. Idk why women make the decision about this. Men know what it is like to have it done and not done and what stigma follows. I say really do your research before making a decsion, not only on the why not to do it but also focus on the why factor. although it is their body, they have to live with it. remember boys take group showers in sports, and also have urinals. they will see others and others will see theirs.

If I have a boy, I won't be. He can make that decision for himself when he's an adult

I'm not circumcising my son. It's completely unnecessary. If he wants a circumcision when he is old enough to choose, I'll pay for him to get one...I just refuse to put that pain on a him when he first enters this world.

If we have a boy he won't be, my boyfriend isn't and has never had issues with it so we wouldn't put our baby through that extra trauma.

My son will be circumcised... I know someone who wasn't & eventually had to have the surgery at 18.

I'm kinda for and against. I'm scared of the healing process. But thoughts from guys who aren't circumcised have really helped me make my choice to do it. yes being "uncut" is becoming more common but I don't want me son to hate his body later in life if he gets made fun of. babys feel birth too(extreme pain) and does that stop us from having babies? no. so whatever your preferences are then that's your choice. its your baby. baby will not remember it

We're both for it. I wasn't for a while then I did more research on it and talked to a few guys I know who aren't (all brothers haha) and all of them hate not being circumsized. Ones actually getting his done in a few months because he said he's had more problems and doesn't like it. I don't think I've met any mom's who regret their decision. But everyone will make a decision on what they think is best. My friends son was born and she had no choice but to have it done because it already got infected and that was the only way to clear the infection so every circumstance is different.

My oldest got circumcised & if my daughter would've been a boy she would've got circumcised too..

my son got circumcised. I'm for it but also not one to harp on people who arent.

im all for.it, if it turns out im haveing a boy then me and my hubby have decided to have it done right.after he is born,,,my husbands parents waited untill he was older to have it done and he said it was horrible and that they should have done it when he was born so he is all for having our son done after birth.

I had one for my son. My doctor had said it would be easier to clean, plus the men in my family that aren't, have given me horror stories about it.

Against it. There's no reason for it and in my opinion, it's hypocritical to say "He's so perfect" and then let a doctor sexually arouse him and cut him up. There are risks and they lie when they say "he didn't feel a thing" or "he slept through it". I've met grown men who've had it done and couldn't handle it even being sedated. And most moms who circ, end up being regret moms. It's actually mutilation. Foreskin isn't extra, it's there for a reason. It's his body, it should be his choice.

my friend didn't get her son done and it was always infected and eventually needed surgery..

I researched some and went thru pros and cons..in a he end decided against circumcision. Do what's best and YOUR comfortable with!

I'm not having a boy but if i ever do, definitely for it
