how early can you find out the gender of the baby ?
You can be racist towards the race of your friends. You can be racist towards your own race. You can be racist towards the race of your family. You can be racist towards the race of your spouse. You can be racist towards the race of your kids. Your racism doesn't just stop being racism because 'X' is said race. Racism is Racism. Thanks for coming to this very well needed TedTalk.
Moms, We've seen lots of posts about moms trying to naturally induce labor quite early. If you are interested in this kind of information, you should seek the advice of a medical professional because every pregnancy is different. For educational purposes and without any judgement, here is what the March of Dimes states about babies born too early. We will also post this on our blog this weekend. Babies born too early may have more health problems at birth and later in life than babies born later. Being pregnant 39 weeks gives your baby's body all the time it needs to grow. Here's why your baby needs 39 weeks: Important organs, like his brain, lungs and liver, get the time they need to develop. He is less likely to have vision and hearing problems after birth. He has time to gain more weight in the womb. Babies born at a healthy weight have an easier time staying warm than babies born too small. He can suck and swallow and stay awake long enough to eat after he's born. Babies born early sometimes can't do these things. Can scheduling an early birth cause problems for you and your baby? Yes. Experts are learning that scheduling an early birth for non-medical reasons can cause problems for mom and baby. Below are examples of problems that can happen when a birth is scheduled too soon for a non-medical reason. Your due date may not be exactly right. Sometimes it's hard to know just when you got pregnant. Even with an ultrasound, your due date can be off by as much as 2 weeks. If you schedule to induce labor or schedule a cesarean birth (also called a c-section) and your date is off by a week or 2, your baby may be born too early. Inducing labor may cause problems for you and your baby. These can include: Stronger and more frequent contractions. This happens for many women. Contractions are when the muscles of your uterus get tight and then relax. Possible infections Uterine rupture. This is when the uterus tears during labor. It happens very rarely. Inducing labor may not work. If your labor is induced, the medicine your doctor or certified nurse-midwife (also called CNM) gives you may not start your labor. When this happens, you may need to have a c-section. A c-section can cause problems for your baby. Babies born by c-section may have more breathing and other medical problems than babies born by vaginal birth. (Most babies are born by vaginal birth. The mother's uterus contracts to help push the baby out through the vagina, also called the birth canal.) C-sections can cause problems in future pregnancies. Once you have a c-section, you may be more likely in future pregnancies to have a c-section. The more c-sections you have, the more problems you and your baby may have, including problems with the placenta. A c-section is major surgery for mom. It takes longer for you to recover from a c-section than from a vaginal birth. You can expect to spend 2 to 4 days in the hospital after a c-section. Then you need about 4 to 6 weeks after you go home to fully recover. You also may have complications from the surgery, like infections and bleeding. So it's important to stay in touch with your health care provider even after you go home. Please talk to your doctor or midwife about this topic. Share your respectful thoughts and we'll add it to our article. Thanks, mom.life_USA

Мама сына (2 года), беременна (39 нед.)
he knows that I don't really want to so he was suggesting walking a lot and massages and other stuff. but none of it is working. I'm in no rush really just waiting for my contractions to get closer together I get maybe four a day. I'm trying to stay away from medicine. I think I might have him try stripping or whatever it is on Monday if she hasn't come yet. @jana.bear but I agree with wanting the babe to come early. I want her to come too but I'm patient Lol just on a deadline. lol

@proudm0mmaof2, Induction is super stressful on baby. But if it has to happen then all you can do is trust your doctor right? Take it easy momma.

I agree. I just don't want to be medically induced. that's the only reason why I'm trying and asking for natural ways. my Dr said if she doesn't come by we'd then I will be induced and I don't want that. I think he may have some concerns because I have had a difficult pregnancy. I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow

@leiibaaaby, I definitely think those things you mentioned are important preparation for delivery. I don't see that as trying to induce labor since none of that technically will. It just helps things progress at a good pace for your body.

I agree that your body will only go into labor when your body is ready . But i do believe that walking squats sex etc natural things can help you contract and dilate which is not labor but preparing and helping. i had sex and walked and instantly got contractions which my doctor recommended since im getting closer to the end and im a ftm that doesnt believe in medical intervention. Although some women take it to far like with the oil and all that thats to much .

@jaaym_, @kelseys I swear when I see people like 34 weeks trying to induce themselves and they ask what are some things they can do I just wanna comment and be like "have you tried letting the baby come on his/her own? That might be a good idea."

@kelseys What works? I wasn't asking if anything works. I'm not pregnant by the way.

@junesmommy15, no I meant to tag you. I know you asked another user if she's tried this or is this her first but I just wanted to show you that it does work from my experience.

@jana.bear Ok so I'm guessing you haven't. I would never use castor oil. I am not pregnant by the way. I did try things like walking with my son though. @kelseys Did you mean to tag someone else?
Mari·

@junesmommy15, I'm on my third and totally agree with this post. I've never tried to induce myself, and my sons have came on their own and labor was easy, only did walking. tension works against the body and the baby will sense that and not want to come, so its best to just relax. the more your body is relaxed instead of stressed then the baby will come.

@junesmommy15, Castor oil can cause the baby to have a bowel movement which they could aspirate. Any good doctor will tell you not to try to force anything to happen early since your due date could be off by 2 weeks. So at 38 weeks you coulda actually only be 36 weeks. And there is a lot of studies that have shown an increase in learning disabilities for babies born before 37 weeks.

Besides none of those "old wives tale" work... Some swear by it but maybe it was just time that your baby wanted to come out.

Finally someone said it. 🙌🏻 for the past few days I keep seeing people trying to induce their labor "naturally" like if your baby doesn't want to come yet don't force it. I'm tired and exhausted and body feels beat and everyone thought she was going to come weeks earlier (I'll be 39 weeks Monday) but I'm like she's going to come when she wants to come I'm not going to force her out even if I'm uncomfortable. I hate what I've been seeing. 🙄

Have you ever tried it or is this your first?
