For both. If you have to be rushed right away to the OR then they put it in your hand and you'll be asleep during the operation. Luckily I got it before having to go to the OR and was awake to hear my sons first cry @kiyaratores

Is it epidural for the c-section or general anesthesia?@aidens_mommy_cx

at the last minute cause I was gunna go all natural without the spinal tap but I had to for the surgery @kiyaratores

@aidens_mommy_cx, So much pain! Was that with epi during labor?

I was 26 hours+ in labor till I got an emergency C section @kiyaratores

@kiyaratores, Ikr. But that second go around was PAIN!! OMG but I'm glad I got to experience a natural birth.

@kiyaratores, The lowest dose of the pain killer Fentanyl is all I had.

15 hours of labor and 1.5 of pushing

I was in labor for 24 hours lol

my labor was two days cuz I got induced and it took foreverrr

@kiyaratores, omg yeeessss worst pain ever I almost wanted to punch my husband and midwife! my midwife was such a bitch and my husband wasn't telling her anything! Ugh! I'm just glad it's over with and I have my monkey here with me.

No, it was very smooth. I slept most of the time. I pushed for about 10mins and it was over. @kiyaratores

Yea it wasn't too bad til after my water broke around 2am, I was handling it fine by myself at home then had call hubby from work and wait on the toilet til he showed up lol it was gushing with every contraction, veeery painful but surprisingly I was the calm one on the way to the hospital! I was like, you can slow down we have time! Good thing he went fast though cuz an hour after arriving I had the urge to push and she was coming! The nurse didn't believe me for a while she tried talking me into the epidural because she said I can't push yet and it would help me relax and not feel the urge...luckily she finally checked and sure enough, she was coming!!! It felt as though my body were being ripped apart from the inside going from 4cm to 10cm in an hour, but it was sooo worth it! Very intense, amazing, experience...I plan on doing it again when we have more! In fact since this one went so fast I told hubby we're taking home birthing classes next time around cuz we prob won't make it to the hospital anyways 😲😂 lol

@promise12345, that good! I was 5cm when my water broke while walking at the hospital. And i felt the pain. It hurts!

I was 6cm when I got an epidural, didn't want to, but she was big.

38 hrs got induced at 830 am Sept 17 didn't have my baby till Sept 19 at 334 am but the best thing Is my contractions didn't start hurting until I was 8 cm dilate.

They ended up having to break my water, 😖 so they gave it to me right before they broke my water since everything progressed super fast after that.

@anuheas.mommy, awts! I was going to have the CS because he's not coming out but then I pushed hard coz I don't want to have lots of stitches.

I was in labor with my son for 9hrs w/ epidural, & I was in labor with my daughter for 7hrs all natural !!

30 hours! Ugh...then had baby girl via emergency c-section.

I already told them when I was admitted that I was getting it. 😂 So I didn't have to ask they gave it to me when it was time.

@hellosweetie, i asked for epi once my water broke and 3hrs after he comes out 😬 I can't live with the pain. I envy for having your baby all natural!

I had early labor at home around 14 hours, water broke, got to hospital at 3am and was 4cm. Hour and a half later at 4:32am she was born, all natural, medication free 😁

I was in active labor for 17 hours, but only pushed for 15 minutes. Wasn't too bad and went smooth.
