How true is it that exclusively breast feeding is a natural form of birth control??
it was for me for the first 6&1/2 months then he started eating solids almost every night but my husband pulled out...but it's still possible
I use it as a form of birth control... I did a lot of research on natural family planning. I do check ovulation by doing pee tests just to make sure but as someone else said you have to EBF, no bottles
If you exclusively breastfeed, no bottles whatsoever and no pacis, it tricks your body not to start ovulation. its only for the first 6 months. But its not completely reliable even during the first 6 months
It's not true. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter since day 1 and she is 15 months old. I am now 10 weeks pregnant. I thought because I haven't had a period since getting pregnant with her I couldn't get pregnant.....boy was I wrong. My doctor told me that all the same hormones release while you are nursing so you can still ovulate with out having your period.
Thank y'all soo much!
