Did anybody do a gender reveal? How or how are you going to reveal the gender? I'm trying to get ideas!

my husband and I are doing Balloons in a box because it's very last minute. my grandfather's having a family get together next Saturday and my mom actually wanted to do a gender reveal AMD that's our only option for same day getting a gender reveal done in just a short couple hours.

What's sad is I'm not around family. Not even close. My husband is in the navy. The darts and paint idea is cute but we're not going to reveal names until after the baby is born so I would do like initials @tenlieghsmom I'm jealous you did a whole dinner idea that's so cute @katielee5897 and silly string is a better idea then paint! We want to be suprised ourselves so it's hard to go to the dollar store and get the silly string because the color is on top of it. I was thinking going to lowes, handing over a paper with the gender and them giving me paint but with white on the outside so we wouldn't know the color inside but to splatter paint on each other could be messy but still so many color varieties @evococa idk ladies lol

We got silly string, red and blue (they didn't have pink) and wrapped the red in pink duck tape and the blue in blue. Brought necklaces of pink and blue to our family dinner and had everyone pick a team. They grabbed the silly string of their choice and went to opposite sides of the room to battle 😂 what they didn't know was the blue didn't work. So those who picked blue got sprayed with pink and couldn't retaliate lol

Oh and here's our cake! My aunt made it!

We did the whole cake and party thing. We invited our family and friends and did some decorations and for fun we had a bunch of wives tales on a table with their predictions along with sonogram pics and we had the video of the sonogram playing on the projector! We had everyone guess the gender and then they put their name in the mason jar corresponding to their guess and they picked either a pick or blue bow to wear around the party. After we cut the cake and found it was a girl we picked a name out of the girl mason jar and the winner got a 25 dollar gift card to sheetz (gas station- don't know if you have those where you're at!) but it was a lot of fun and super cute and everyone brought food and stuff and it was a nice night

our gender annoucement

My hubby and I did. His mom made us a cake and put a cover on it. When we lifted the cover, surprise! It was blue.

My sister is planning one for me. Nothing huge just something she wanted to do.
