i do the same. it's a great way to keep up your supply & also stock up the freezer as well! lol

@verobaby, I usually only pump in the mornings, sometimes in the afternoon or at night. I like to try to keep a supply of fresh milk in the fridge incase we need to leave the kids with someone last minute, I always freeze my milk after a couple days so I end up building a freezer stash. I'm running out of room in my freezer so now I'm trying to find a momma to donate my milk to 😂😂

hahaha try taking some to maybe your parents house or someone who watches the baby. i had to do that. my feezer stash was mainly for when i worked so my bf could feed our son but i also pump at work so i had to start storing milk in other places lol it catches up quick. i mean I'm not complaining at least we are keeping up lol

if your only feeding on one side try pumping the other side when you finish feeding the baby maybe like every 3-4 hours depending how much she nurses and it won't dry your left side or wont hurt and you'll have way more milk stored i caught clogged ducts because of the same reason baby was only nursing on one side i used to pump the other side only in the mornings and almost got an infection because i had so much milk now i nurse on the same side and pump on the other no more pain and more milk stored for baby 😀

@verobaby, I live 800 miles from all my family, I don't think my milk stash would survive the trip 😂😂 but we almost never go out, and when we do its for a couple hours while someone babysit both kids at my house. although I am starting school soon and MIGHT have both kids in daycare so a stash would be useful then.

i understand trust me lol thank goodness frozen breastmilk lasts so long in the freezer. always save it for when you really need it you know

@lovelycin09, she nurses on both sides all day long, just at night she doesn't have the energy or patience to fight her torticollis and nurse on my left. so when we wake up I nurse on the left, then pump both sides and usually nurse her 2 or 3 times in a row on the left, then go back to alternating sides all day until bed time. I've got a pretty good supply on both sides, yet not so much that I have an oversupply. my boobs always feel prettt comfortable now haha
