I don't live with any of my family so it was easy to not tell anyone tell I was 3 1/2 months then I told them and the people who talked negatively about it I just separated myself from and they further along you get the more they will want to come around

My pregnancy wasn't exactly accepted so great either . I shed a good amount of tears , because it does hurt but in the end I'm just happy, and my baby is healthy so far and that's all that matter . Everything's going to be okay .

I ignored it because I knew later on their attitude would change. Most people's attitude changes as you get further along and when they see the baby. This is your blessing, not theirs 💕

what @joannee95 said, it'll all turn around it just takes time is all. and I completely empathize, I too have a history of depression and unwisely cut myself off of my meds when I learned I was pregnant... I won't go back on since it's been so long but I do have to wean onto something else toward the end of the pregnancy to prevent postpartum depression so talk to your doc and be very honest about your depression cause there is help, and you'll start to see the positive in all the chaos :) you're creating a LIFE!

My family said I was stupid. It hurt in the beginning but they're not my happiness my baby is and well my family had finally accepted it except for my dad who I could careless about! Just remember your baby is your world now.

Just ignore it and keep your distance. As long as your happy then that's all that matters.

definitely just distance yourself for a bit and if you're happy, do not let them take that from you. you have every right to enjoy it and a lot of times it takes a long time but family does come around. either toward the end when it feels more real to them, or even all the way after birth, they can't hide from it at that point and as unsupported and upset as they are now they love you and they'll love baby too. just gotta give time and space and focus on you and your baby. good luck girl. anytime you're upset, I used to go alone to target or somewhere and just buy something small that made me happy for baby like socks or a onesie or something. invest in this time you'll never ever get it back!

@rosemoon, do not listen to them! I distanced myself from them. It sucks cause I was a huge family person. But they were all so negative! So I said forget this. And just don't go around nearly as much.
