not painful when it wasnt a good old sweep but two days later went for another and it was a different midwife and she gave me the best sweep she could and that hurt😂xx

Painful for me! Probably because I hadn't had sex for 4weeks prior to it....but for me it hurt worse than contractions! x x

I've had 3 done altogether, one for my first child and two for my second and they're not painful I just found them very uncomfortable, buy really didn't want to be induced as I found that to be much worse in my experience. x

Not painful at all. It's a bit uncomfortable but midwife only used 2 fingers so not that bad. And she's in there for about 30 seconds so don't worry x

i had one it was painful my advise is to take a deep breath doesnt last long xx

I've never had one before but I've heard they're not painful, just uncomfortable xxx
