We set an alarm and woke up every 3-4 hours until we were positive he was gaining weight at a good rate.

@babie_2016, leave him to sleep. When he's hungry he would wake. Ethan would sleep hours on end a few days old and wanted to wake him while at hospital and nurses told me don't and I listened. Do it to this day and he's 9 weeks.

He'll wake when he's hungry, BUT I wouldn't let him sleep TOO long. Ajani sleeps very well too. I get him up every 4 hours if he doesn't stir on his own.

Мама четверых детей, беременна

my boys both slept through the night.... the doc yelled at me for letting them. they need to eat every few hours... at least for the first few months.... they didn't gain as much weight as the doc wanted them to so I was instructed to wake them up anyway. make them eat

Let that baby sleep Lol. Just like us when we are hungry and wake up he too will do the same. Never wake a sleeping baby. They know for sure what they want we don't. We have to listen and follow their ques 🙂. If he sleeps for long just know when he wakes everything should already be prepped and ready to go Lol.

Mines 5 months old now. Docs told me wake her every 2-4 hours to eat. I always felt bad and just let her sleep until she was hungry. She doubled her weight in the first 3 months. Just do what you feel is best :) Everyone goes about it differently and everyone's child is different

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Hey! So before I freak out and call his pediatrician, I'm going to take this to you guys first bc I know I'm overreacting. So Brian isn't sleeping well, and he's super fussy. He's been up every hour since last night, and when he is in his bed he fusses and doesn't sleep well before waking up crying. He will drink half his normal bottle, then fall asleep in my arms. Then as soon as I put him in his bed he can't get comfortable and sleep again. Until last night he was sleeping 3-5 hours at a time comfortably (he even slept 7 hours two nights ago). I have tried burping him. Massaging him. Swaddling him tight. Making sure he wasn't too warm. Or too cold. I've never given him medicine. I have gripe water and Tylenol. He is 7 weeks old. What do you think could be causing this, and what do you think I can do to help him?

Trigger. Our precious boy

Trigger. Our precious boy Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
