or you could just pick them off after you give them a bath when their nails are all soft

We use clippers. Some use baby nail files.

my son's were strong as nails right out of the womb!! I had to use clippers. Scariest experience ever.

I have always been careful and used baby clippers. Our mouths have alot of germs ;)

however you feel safe and comfortable I would say mouth then as baby gets older a good safety nail clipper
