day 2 that my husband has called in to work sick...he has flu like symptoms...he only gets 7 sick/personal days off a year...he has used up 4 already and now he only has enough for the day that I'm in hospital having our son... that's if he doesn't take more sick days off... I hope and pray he dusent get fired

Lol it was not easy for me ether living with my parents but there was a car there so if I went in to labor I had a way to get to the hospital... now we live 30mins away from them and our car is dead :( so I have no was to the hospital really lol
@babyjay414, I don't know how you are doing it... I'm a 2nd time mom but we lived with my parents when I had our daughter now living so far from them and with everything going on I'm so stressed and worried

he has not even bean with the company for a year yet unfortunately :( next month it will be a year but our son will be born this month on the 17th @babyjay414
depending on how long he's been there that's what the fmla is for
@babyjay414, I know they can't for being sick but if he uses up all his time then they can say no he can't take time off when our son is born and if he calls in then they might... he lost his job a week before our daughter was born and it just worries me it might happen again along with all the other stuff that's going on.... I'm just stressed about it all
