Yeah it's hard to say but if the box isn't open then you can exchange it for a different size

My son was 8 pounds 9 ounces at birth 2 weeks later he was almost 15 pounds and by 3 months he weighed 30 pounds so I would say prob just get a couple packs of 1s lol cuz needless to say my son couldn't fit 1s we went from 1s to 3s and then clothes were 6 to 9 months when he was only 3 months it sucked I had a midget lol

My sisters baby grew really fast but he is a big boy. I'm okay with that because I got all his left over diapers so I haven't had to buy any newborn or size one for when my little girl arrives lol

He weighs 40 pounds now and he is 3

@lae1988, good to know! I could probably pop out an 8 pound baby and use 1s for a few weeks. Knowing me I'll give birth to a big baby lol @lauren125 that's a great idea actually!! Maybe I won't use all of them lol

Just depends on how small your baby be! My nephew is 5 months and just started wearing a 2

my baby was born 7 15 and she's a month and still in ones. my nephew was 8 7 and he's still in ones and he's a month lol

I wish my son would have been small I couldn't carry him in his car seat after a month lol

My son was 8 2 and stayed in newborns for almost 5 weeks! Ones lasted for almost 2 months I think. So baby shape has more to do with it than anything (he still got no booty lol). So I'd say have a few of those first three sizes on hand just in case ;)

I read a good estimate of 3 months in size 1 then 3 months in size 2 and then they stay in 3s for a long time
