okay so mommies im looking for any advice or experience that youve had with this...so...i have a two week old son with swollen nipples with dischatge coming from them...i talked to my doctor about this problem yesterday she said go to the er if its red(which it was then clearly)or if it was painful(he cries any time you touch them) or if there was any liquid coming from it (which happened this morning) so the er said it was just hormones and theres nothing that can be done besides watching it...im quite irritated and idk what i should do..heres a picture of his chest...

Warm wash cloth on the chest and keep and eye out. It is related to hormones and it's a collection of milk. Perfectly normal. Just keep him comfy and use a warm wash cloth to let it naturally secrete out. You don't want to force anything unless the dr said it was ok. Good luck love!

Aww poor baby boy! Yes take him to a children's hospital and maybe they can get the milk out for him or figure out what's wrong. I bet he's in so much pain.

poor baby but sometimes babies do get hormones are they produce milk themselves somebody else posted on here a few days ago their daughter had it
