Sounds like a growth spurt and they are common and normal. They also keep happening. My normally happy baby turns into another person during her rough days. The most you can do is give extra cuddles or whatever it takes.

Please go and buy the book "the wonder weeks". It has all the weeks in there and explains what babies are going through. They're called phases and last 1-2 days or a week. But once a phase is over, you will see that baby can do something new. It really is amazing. Trust me, there's nothing wrong with them. Yeah, could be gas or colic, but if you read up, it'll happen when they're exactly 4 weeks, or exactly 6 weeks old and so on.... This book is a life saver!!!

SAME!!! I don't know what is going on either. I called the nurse and all she could tell me if is he pees every 6 hours and he eats at least a little bit there's nothing I could do. to just "wait it out" but a baby doesn't cry for no reason!!! and I feel like he's in pain. he's normally so calm and happy. :(

Yours to?! mine has been the same way. he cries and cries and cries. and nothing stops it unless I carry him around and bounce him.
