I have a questions. How many of you women were told you were having a boy but found out later on it was a girl? I mean…

The dr spent a good 10 minutes on my son's privates... she made out his testicles and lil penis....

honestly to me it looks like a girl. the ultrasound that says boy the "boy parts" don't look like its a boy

I got three ultrasounds done just to make sure. On in 3D. After that, i was certain it was a boy

do you have a profile view of the baby?

lol one i got on sale but it was only 5 bucks lol the other yea i can just take it back lol.. as long as if wasnt like a stroller or crib.. that would suck

@rockysmommy i have another one on Wed because the baby kept moving during the anatomy scan ...she has to finish the rest ..sadly i already purchased two gender specific items lol

a friend of mine was told she was having a girl. then at 35 weeks she had a 3d/4d scan and found out she was having a boy.

Maybe ask for another one because you didn't get an actual chance to see it? @lilfree16

@lakilucid, I am in fact talking genetically. lol. I mean I have the video of my gender ultrasound and it very much looks like a boy lol but the er doc did an ultrasound and sounded hesitant but his umbilical cord was in between his legs the entire time

@id9564547 the blood test are more accurate than ultrasounds bc there are either female or male chromosomes.

There are people who don't identify as male or female (gender neutral). Also there are transgender people who don't feel comfortable with the sex they were born in.

The blood tests aren't much more accurate than the ultrasounds

1 in 20 babies is inaccurately labeled a sex according to CNN. 1 in 100 babies is born with ambiguous genitals or is intersex & their sex is not discovered until later (Wikipedia page on Intersex).

I've never met anyone that had a girl when told a boy but I've seen a girl be born a boy. my tech said she may have seen something. then next time she said ya I think I saw boy parts. then I saw a dif tech and he said 99.9% boy. no doubt and I ask why the uncertainty before with the other tech n he said they don't want to give false info and it occasionly can happen if a girl has large parts or a boys scrotum hasn't let out yet. That happen with my first both they said it was a boy at delivery
