I always fell asleep on my side and woke up on my back throughout my entire pregnancy. Baby was fine. Your body will tell you when your position isn't right.
well then I got 3 weeks left to try not to sleep on my back. right now I'm 17 weeks. I'm glad I'm not the only one who dose (: I always think I'm hurting it.
You are fine. My dr told me as long as you are comfortable it's ok. Once the baby and everything gets bigger and heavier it will become uncomfortable for you. I would wake up on my back a lot until 24-26 weeks
the weight of you're uterus presses on the main vein that returns blood from you're lower body to you're heart. it could also interfere with the flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and you're growing baby. @waylonsmommy252 . I read that up on Google. but I can't help to lay on my back while pregnant.
It's after 20 weeks it's not recommended to sleep on your back so your ok right now and I accidentally sleep on mine to sometimes and my baby is kicking up a storm this morning so I don't think it will hurt every so often just try to fall asleep on your side and then if you end up on your back your fine
you are ok.... I talked to my Dr about it, and he said as long as I were to go back to my side as soon as I noticed and fell asleep on my side I was just fine... I sometimes knew I was on my back because my hip would hurt from laying on it but I would always go back to my side after awhile.... you can always try placing pillows along your back to keep you up on your side better
