We are a month old! Time is flying by and needs to slow down

This weather is crazy. Praying for all the families affected by this. #prayforhouston

As someone who was in labor for 17 1/2 hours and then still had to have a c-section because my babies life was on the line, this hits home.

How come nobody ever warns you about the emotional roller coaster you get put on after the baby comes? All I do is cry about everything or yell at my husband!! Ready for my hormones to get back into shape.

I will get breastfeeding down one day, until then time to change clothes again! Lol

We are 5 days old now :)

Just read a story on a lady that had a stillbirth, it was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever read. I had a lot of complications in labor and there were so many things that could have gone a lot worse than what they did. I am sitting here holding my 5 day old bundle and bawling my eyes out. I am so thankful and so blessed that she is healthy and safe, I couldn't imagine the sorrow and pain of losing an angel. Sleeping on the couch the first night home so I can have her next to me. We put her in her bed and I just cried because she was too far away. One thing I liked about being in the hospital is she was literally right next to me. I'm just so worried something is going to happen and I can't get to her fast enough. Needing to go get a cradle or bassinet to put next to the bed!

Nobody warned me how much my heart would melt. I never knew I could be so in love.

After 17 1/2 hours of labor (no pushing), LOTS of complications, and a c-section, she is worth EVERY tear cried & every pain. I wouldn't trade this in for anything. I am one proud and happy momma :)
