omg I hate these iron pills. I have to take them twice a day and they make me go to the bathroom alot sorry tmi

they make you go to the bathroom? They're supposed to make you constipated, so its good they don't!! I have to take a stool softener with mine every morning

they do lol it's so bad. I guess different effects on different people because my MIL told me it would make me constipated and to double up on my water. @babymay2016 bab

@francesgln92, interesting! I know it sucks to go a lot, but it is much better than being constipated! I have struggles with constipation my whole life until pregnancy, and I just now started my iron and I'm afraid it will do that. I hope it has the opposite effect like it did to you. That gives me hope LOL thank you

@francesgln92, Oh girl I have such a dry mouth already this whole time. I don't think I could drink any more water than I already do. I drink sooo much. I have just been taking a softner with it to try to prevent constipation before it starts

They make me nations. There are other ones you can take that won't do that.

when I talked to my doctor's about having to take the pills I asked if I can just eat more greens or something because I didn't want to take the pills and they told me no because they want to make sure I get the full amount i need @daniellecaprara11 da

There are ones that won't make you sick that have the full amount you need and you can literally get them at target I need to do that I'm just lazy haha with my first I don't think I had an iron problem with my second they told me the ones at target were good. They never made me sick. Now with this pregnancy I have to take the iron pill along with a stool softener and in an empty stomach it's so nasty and makes me gag. I'm about to go in Monday and ask to switch to what I was on prior! Ask your DR
