Don't do this shit. It's not safe. Fabric in car seat covers is made to compress EXACTLY the right amount. It's made to be flame retardant. A car seat's ONLY function is to keep your child safe. It is not a fashion statement. If something happened and the seat failed, and you were using one of these, you'd lose all right to legal recourse (financial or otherwise). Is that what you want? Would you ever be able to forgive yourself if you couldn't fight for a recall on a seat that killed your child just because you wanted the seat to be pretty? No? Then STAHP the madness.

@maybabyboy lol yeah just safety. my former sister in law tried putting this shit on my daughters car seat when I was working.. I cut it up and threw them at her.. she was so ignorant

I'm actually really glad we live pretty far from family and old friends, those are the kind of people who don't listen to the parents wishes because "it will be fine, I did it and there was no problem, they're just being over protective" or whatever. I could easily see some people turning my kid forward facing before he is ready, or putting unsafe crap on his seat, and when I correct them they would ignore me. it's much easier living halfway across the country from them and not having to worry about it lol!

her grandparents live 45 min away and luckily respect our wishes but my MIL always has something snarky to say.. thankfully her son and I agree to stay living 6 hours away lol. extended rear facing all the way ♡ @maybabyboy

They are also very fugly! This type of material if ever caught fire with child can melt to the child's skin.

My mother in law wants a crib bumper and I'm like NO! Also this is really ugly. Car seats are meant to be used for safety, doesn't need to be cute.
