Can you get a breast pump through Medicaid, if so how?

My dr said it's not possible.. 😞

@theosmommy, really? maybe it just depends on where you're at because a lot of people I've talked to who are in my state are on Medicaid and they're getting one through their insurance.

I'm in NJ.. could be that..

yes my doctors made me wait until i had my daughter then they wrote me a prescription and gave me a list of the medical supply places i could bring the prescription

try to call your insurance company it may just need to be done directly through them

Yes my hospital got it for me.

just go to the website it'll have you select you state and your insurance. then it has you select your doctor. it'll email them to verify and they'll email you and mail it. it's really simple to do
