No its usually brown

Dark colored blood is usually a sign of old blood, usually turns a nasty brown color

Not usually. Mine was pink but I've been told pink or a lighter brown are usually the colors to look for.

it started off brown and then today it turned to a dark red this morning

mine was somewhat bright more darker red then turned pink then nothing within 3-4 hours. but i did cramp..

I just checked on my pad again and it looks like it's not sticking to the pad. Yet its on the TP. It's turning to a faded reddish brown.
