I have a midwife appointment tomorrow. I'll be 39+5... . Is she likely to just see me again in a weeks time for normal appointment or suggest a sweep,etc? xx
You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?

July, Booked to get an implant. Appointment got cancelled. Booked again. Nurse was sick so appointment got cancelled. Couldn’t get another appointment for aaaages so tried to book an appointment for the pill. Had to wait two months. My appointment was today. Cancelled. 🙃
Aren’t they supposed check the heartbeat at appointments???

@sleckenby, she just said once a week past 40 weeks but I'm guessing if there's any reason to induce you or risks or anything then I think they probably would after 41, hopefully we all don't have to find out lol!!

This is my 3rd baby @laa286 My first was born on her due date and my 2nd went 4 days over and that was almost 10 yrs ago so I can't remember wot the deal was then lol. I cud wait another week easily if that's wot she suggests....just thort I'd ask wots the norm in case I need to mentally prepare myself tomorrow lol. Did ur midwife say wot

I had an appointment today at 39+3 and it was just a normal appointment. She said she will see me again a week after my due date and that's when I'll get the sweep x

I got a sweep at 39 weeks as it wasn't my first baby. not that it actually worked for me but you could always ask if u want one xx

I was told by midwife today they see you every week after 40 weeks so in theory you'd be seen at 41 weeks next I think
