a lady brought her 2 yr old to the OB office and the baby has been walking around with a poop diaper for 30 mins now. the nurse said she needed to change him, she just smiled and laughed... I wish I had diapers and wipes cuz I would. no judgment it just smells bad!
She left to put in the size 3. she apologized, I told her she didn't need t apologize at all!
That's what comments and context clues are for! I'm too damn grown for drama.. if something isn't liked, move on. that simple. I wish I could help her out. she didn't seem to care at all as in she doesn't care what anyone thinks.. she will fix the problem whrn she can!
He would be putting on a size three today if he was my child. Just to prevent a rash. I can't believe the doctor's office doesn't have any. I wish I was there to help.
@motherof4_galore, maybe the husband had an appointment he needed to get to as well? Not everyone's schedules correlate so couples are able to attend things together. I know this from experience being 33 wks pregnant, have a 10 mth old son, and a fiancé that works during the day while I have appointments.
Well the way this status was worded made it seem like the lady didn't care that they were in a poop diaper. it said nothing about her forgetting or being unprepared
exactly. she needed to keep her mouth shut just like one other person that commented here in my humble opinion. accidents happen. those that call out or judge better be perfect parents lol
I bet that lady is embarrassed enough that her child has to be like that let alone a nurse saying something. I've encountered a few children that needed a diaper change in public but I'd never say anything, I don't know their situation. hope that lady isn't too embarrassed. I would've left.
one mother told the nurse that the child and mother weren't hurting anybody and to mind her own business.. she has balls!!
@lakilucid, this is my 4th child.. can't say that it's ever happened to me but I know that it can. the moral of the story here is that not a woman in this place was giving a flying fuck until the nurse was rude. the nurse is a baby nurse that will assist in the delivery of my baby.... that's what I'm saying..
even a slightly big nappy will suffice. and I was talking to miss high and mighty. lol
@aubriesmommy, unless you know the full situation or are willing to help, no reason to judge. Sometimes things get forgotten or you run out on the go, it's part of being a parent!
@aubriesmommy, then you're honestly not a very good person. how dare you call anyone a terrible parent for being in that situation. better hope you never forget the diaper bag. because then everyone can call you a terrible mother. smh.
@aubriesmommy, quite a few women have asked what size diapers because they have some in yhe car but he's in a size 6 and all they have is 2 and 3.
@lakilucid, I'm judging the nurse for openly yelling that in front of everyone. there's like 20 women in here. I don't know anyone's situation. it just smells awful but toddler shit smells awful..
wait until it happens to you and then someone makes a status about it or gives you rude looks or a nurse butts in but won't help.
@motherof4_galore, she told a lady next to her sorry for the smell but her husband had to drop her off ad rhat the diaper bag was left in the car but she'd get him changed asap
pshh I would judge hard. I would never let my child sit in shit. that's horrible parenting. my boyfriend has a friend that when he went over there her daughter smelled and she was like "Yeah I've been trying to change her for the past 2 hours" like no. you tell your child to sit their ass down so you can change them if it's been that long.
I believe she didn't have any diapers with her and nobody else does either @lakilucid and @cass_lynne
its also not anyone else's place to tell her what to do with her child. the nurse was out of line. maybe the woman is on her last diaper?
@megramirez That's sad. I honestly thought she was being a careless mother also by reading the post. When I saw your comments is when I figured it was an honest mistake
