My dream would be to labor in a tub for a while then continue on a bed, but none of the hospitals close by have a tub for that 😔 disappointment central.

Of course safety is most important, but this being my fourth delivery, I'm ready to do things the way I want. I have had a csection after induction, a vbac with epi and a vbac2 without epi. If this is my last for quite awhile or ever I want to try it my way.

I'm just happy with the hospital taking care of everything the way they already do it all. as long as me and my babies are safe that's all that matters to me. I don't want to have my baby/s at home. and I definitely want the pain medicine and epidural. I don't like contractions and don't want the extreme pain.

I won't be laying down when I do go to push, I just know the hospital won't let me do a water birth. So this mama will be squatting or on all fours.

beds are the WORST for labor! it's so unnatural. hospitals near me do not have tubs either, super frustrating

I tried that with my second and it didn't help me.. I have the worst back labor.

I labored in the hot shower for the longest time with my first! It's super soothing too!

Yeah 😒 I've goggled so much.. But the hospital down the road and the two military hospitals closest to me all just have showers. I told my husband I am tempted to just drive five hours to Duke University because they have tubs. And they were amazing when I delivered my angel baby last year.
