I can't do this!!! I started working and my husband watching the baby in morning while I work than when I get home he goes to work. The problem is he is a heavy sleeper and doesn't hear the baby cry. I can't concentrate at work thinking about it. I call him multiple times and he doesn't hear the phone. I can't do this. I'm crying at work. I need a work at home job. I need to be home. I will have to quit! His a great father but there nothing like a mother love and instinct!!!
Of course making sure your baby is at a healthy weight is important. Occasionally missing a feeding is common among parents with multiple children. To prevent the baby from losing weight though, do you have a neighbor or college student babysitter who could check in a couple of days a week?
@embersandash, thanks its so hard. @id9564547 his a heavy sleeper he doesn't hear anything most of the time. I'm just worry God forbid something happens to her and he won't hear her cry. we doing the crying out method when she goes to bed. But I also don't want her to starve and miss a feeding. I'm just so concern but I know God hears my prayers.
I hear your fear that the baby night not get what it needs. What are you afraid of happening if you're partner can't hear the baby? Many pediatricians recommend letting the baby cry for 10 minutes before seeing what they need so they learn to self soothe. Does your partner not hear the baby even when the baby is crying very loudly? Sometimes parents need the sleep more than the baby needs to be attended to. If the baby 's basic needs truly aren't being met, Could you get a baby monitor & put it in your partner 's room with the volume turned up so it wakes him up?
