So I had a scare today and went to hospital.But everything checked out well with me and baby just had high blood pressure. And that went down after drinking a soda.And my killer headache I have had for three days straight is gone to.Just having some bleeding they said it could be one of two things that this is when my uterus starts to grow and double in size so that could be why bleeding.Or that it my period. But. bleeding stopped when I drank soda and blood pressure went down.What do y'all think.

Preeclampsia is when you have high blood pressure and traces of protein in your urine. Often times it occurs later on in pregnancy. My doctor told some of the symptoms are head ache, nausea, swelling, and blurred vision are the most common. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between preeclampsia and normal pregnancy symptoms. With you being so early on in the pregnancy they may not feel it is preeclampsia. Maybe just bring it up to your doctor at your next apt.
How far along are you? Have they tested you for preeclampsia?
