Got my glucose drink Friday for my next apmt. Eeeekkkkkk

It doesn't taste bad. But it did make me feel sick afterwards

This is my first to. But when you do it don't eat after midnight. Only plan water. I made that mistake by eating

When I got it done I went in thinking it was going to taste absolutely horrible, it definitely tasted better than most juice 😂😂😂

That makes me happy! Lol I heard it tasted like watered down orange soda! I don't have to fast or anything just can't eat anything before two hours but my apmt is at 9 so that won't be a problem. Lol

You definitely can eat just not an hour before you take the test. @rose.lureen I literally ate oatmeal, Pepsi and Rice Krispy treats an hour before I took mine, and received normal test results afterwards.

I had toast and water and still failed the first one. I passed the second one cuz I didn't eat. @hellokarly

So weird I wonder why everyone seems to have different rules for the glucose test about eating. mine I had to fast for 8 to 12 hours but I know others thst got to do just a 2 hour fast.

Yea but makes sense since they want to see how you process the sugar from a fasting state. I hope I passed mine! @hellokarly

I didn't have to fast at all. So weird. I walked into the office eating beef jerky.
