Breastfeeding mamas — what did you do to help relieve the pain of exclusively breast feeding through the first few days? I've been using lanolin, but it just hurts so bad!
try coconut oil. I've heard that helps and unlike the lanolin you don't have to worry about wiping it off before baby feeds.
I used honest company nipple balm. It's a little expensive but I liked it sooo much better than the lanolin... The more you feed the quicker they will blister over so just bite down breathe.
I had blisters on my right nipple and it was terrible. then the lactation nurse told me to pump every other feeding and also rub my milk on my breast and let it air dry. I still do it and my daughter will be 3weeks monday
Earth mama nipple butter and letting breastmilk dry on nipple also helps
