I'm nervous about my first on appointment because I know they'll do a Pap smear and all and I'm uncomfortable with everybody starring at my vagina and touching it . Any advice 😕

me too, but hey I look at this way . that person that's doing that pap smear is gonna deliver your baby so he or she will see it one way or another
@morninglight, @dennisbaby yea that's true. I just get nervousness about things like that
and your ob delivers babies. they have seen things weirder than a pap smear lol.
@babyg2016, I just make sure that I'm clean down there and that my underwear is clean. Being groomed or not completely depends on how tired I'm feeling 😂
well it should just be your ob and maybe a nurse. I'm super shy and I handled it fine. trust me you will be fine. like @taestasia said that doctor has seen so many before you.

@morninglight, thanks a lot. Ugh doctors always make me nervous lol. Like I see a lot of women say "their going to wear specific draws and bras and what not " even Thoe I don't know if I'll do allat I will definitely be well groomed down there lol
It's better to know exactly what's going on up in there for the baby's health. Plus that obgyn lady or male has seen about 25-30 vaginas before yours that day. Lol

If you have people going with they don't have to be in the room when they do the pap. your OB might even ask for everyone to leave until it's done. other than that just relax and breathe.
just think of it this way... it's probably just as awkward for the ob and the nurse who has to supervise. but what I did was just stare at the ceiling and hold my breath. paps are always awkward and I get nervous when people other than my boyfriend is all up in my lady business too. I wouldn't suggest your SO be in there unless he's cool with it. we didn't know what was gonna go on and my boyfriend kinda got uncomfortable when he saw my ob all in my shit. so he got up and walked to me and just started talking to me about what I wanted to eat afterwards. 😂

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week.
