Just got to weigh our princess, she's 16.2lbs 😉 not too chunky, not too lean...kinda hopin she'll get a lil more chunky again after this growth spurt it over cuz I love my chunky girl! But she's SO ACTIVE now I don't see that happening lol

Annoyed about baby's weight comments Ok I just need to vent a little on here. My baby is a healthy chunky baby. I think she's cute (of course every mother thinks their baby is ?) and I think she's cute being all chunky and cuddly. I HATE it how people say she's "too fat" or they even look at her with a kind of disgust face saying she's too big. It really just pisses me off. They're like "Oh no! she's too big for her age." Or "that's not normal" or they look at her with that sad look like I'm on purposely making her that way. I never dealt with this with my first and he was a chunky baby too. I do not over feed her and she actually doesn't even eat too much of her baby food. She mainly drinks breastmilk. Anybody else having this issue? I know some people might have the issue of being told their baby is too small or skinny. What do you do in these situations? It's one thing when they say "Oh she's so chunky" with a smile on their face and another when they say with a concerned or frown face saying "They are too big or fat" ?

She doesn't look too skinny! But she only weighs 4 more pounds than my 2 month old! I think I'm gonna have a chunky monkey.

Hahaha yes! What was his birth weight? She was 7.7lbs so she's right on track, she's not super chunky 😔 but she's still got fat cheeks and rolls lol big chunky thighs 😂

My girl was 7.2 lbs so I'm guessing they'll be similar in weight. She's getting rolls everywhere ugh I love chunky babies

Omg right?? Chunky babies are the CUTEST 😍 @mychellemabelle Was kinda hoping she'd be chunkier but she's super active, she was rolling both ways like a pro by 3 months, sitting up by 4, standing while holding onto my fingers and chairs and also army crawling by 5 months!!!! She's between the 50-60%ile for weight right now, so at least she's gaining normally....

My little girl can't sit up by herself yet but if you hold her arms she can hold herself up. She also can somewhat stand but is super wobbly. She needs to be able to hold that big head of hers up first lol.

Oh and right no she's in the 65%ile for weight. She's 21 inches long

Hahaha I think Melody had an average to small size head, she was holding it up while I walked around with her sitting up at only 3 weeks! She wanted to skip all the baby stuff....wouldn't even let us swaddle her after 2 weeks 😔 @mychellemabelle

Kylie never liked swaddling! She would kick and kick and start crying. she loves being stretched out

Yes, exact same thing with Melody! These girls are trynna take our babies away too soon 😢 lol @mychellemabelle I want another baby now because I feel like I was cheated the newborn stage 😂 hahaha

Ugh....I can't say which is better, I kinda miss my baby staying where I put her lol I'm not gonna lie...buuut, since she's learned to army crawl it is so much fun and I'm proud of her! But a huge pain because now she gets into EVERYTHING lol nothing is safe anymore lol and I thought the rolling was bad! Oh man I had no idea hahahhaa
