I need help!!
I breast feed about every two hours ( sometimes three) my week old daughter sleeps amazing so I don't wake her up to feed her if my boobs are full. I believe that if she's hungry she will wake up, I don't believe in waking up my baby unless she hasn't ate in over 4 hours. Anyways, every morning. Never fails, I LEAK through my shirt!! No matter if she ate 2 hours ago or 3! I produce so much milk that when I take my bra off to nurse my boobs leak so I have to cover them with a nursing pad until I get her face up to my boob. Any other moms experiencing major leaking boobs? How did you stop it from leaking through your clothes!? 😭 I'm incredibly happy I'm producing so much milk and even producing milk at all but I would like to keep the same clothes on 😂 ( nurse told me not to pump for at least 4 weeks so my milk can have time to adjust to her, not sure if this still applies to me since I leak so bad??)
that happens to everyone. give it a few weeks when your milk supply evens out it'll stop. i used to have to change the sheets & my clothes in the middle of the night for a month but now i never leak & I'm still breastfeeding my son he is 4 months.
That happened to me with my first son. I chose to pump in the middle of the night to build an emergency stock. But eventually my body regulated the milk supply and I made just enough for my baby's schedule. It just takes time to get regulated.
The disposable ones work awesome for me and idk why but they're more expensive :( I use target brand.
@morgans_mommie, yep, I even double them up!! And I use to reusable ones so they are suppose to stop me from leaking out of my shirt! 😂
@I zzysmommy1003, yeah I wake up to my sheets soaked😂 I've had to wash them almost everyday since I've been home from the hospital 😂
Do you use nursing pads? They work amazingly. I change mine two or three times a day.
I was in walmart yesterday and my boobs started leaking luckily I had a black shirt on by time I got home I was soaked
