I like how I posted about my hospital tour tomorrow and I asked what should I expect and No one answered the question you guys just liked it... so umm does anyone mind answering my question?
is this your first? I'm having my 3rd and taking a tour of the hospital, because they no longer deliver where I had my daughter. my main questions are where are the recovery rooms. how big are they compared to the rooms I've moved into before for visitors and also for my SO to have a place to sleep. do the nurses come in and bother you all the time, I'm also requesting that my son stay with me at all times unless I want him to go to nursery. and if I want no visitors can I tell front desk. is there access to a fridge for patients.
They'll show you where you'll go once you're in labor. They'll check your dilation, etc there to make sure you're ready to deliver. Then they'll show you your delivery room. They'll tell you what they'll supply, if/what you'll be able to eat, how many people you can have in the room. After that, they'll walk you to the room you'll stay in the couple days after, show you the machines you and your baby will be using, answer any nursing questions, and any other questions. Remember, no question is a dumb question!
i barely remember mine i know they showed what floor how to get there where to check in nurses station waiting room area and i think that was it where i had my baby
@noemysmom, they basically show you labor & delivery & the nursery & answer any questions you may have. They also give you pamphlets
I would but never took one. they don't do that around here. it be cool if they did tho
Paperwork galore. Tour of the baby wing. Freebie bag maybe. :)
