How much does my food intake effect my breast milk production? I'm not not trying to eat (I know, double negative ha) but I just haven't been that hungry these past few days/ weeks. I'm trying to force myself to eat more. Idk I'm just worried about it!

I had the same problem after my daughter was born. I was only eating once a day because I didn't feel hungry anymore. But you have to eat an extra 400 to 500 calories to help produce a good milk supply. Plus, when baby wants to eat, feed them! Even if they ate just five minutes before. Them eating signals the body to produce the milk they'll need. Someone else just posted more information on breastfeeding today, you should check it out. I've only been at this a month and a half so I don't know much, just what I have gone through and learned through other moms.
