Tired of arguing with BD over baby names. Every time we discuss names he feels like he has the final say so in naming our son....he wants to name him Lion......I hate that name for obvious reasons (Come the hell on dude....LION....seriously?!?!?! 😤) I'm stuck between 2 names Jaydyn or Josiah. I want my son to have a name that he'll be proud to put on a resume or that he won't get denied a job over. But his father and I clash every time his name is brought up. I'm 4 weeks away from my due date and I'm honestly not looking forward to that moment when we have to sign the birth certificate...it's gonna be a huge argument because I absolutely REFUSE to name my child Lion 🦁⬅️😤😡💣💣💣🔫🔫🔫

We were torn between Josiah & Javian up until a month or so ago but finally settled on Josiah James. 😊 Hopefully y'all can come to an agreement soon!

My boyfriend didn't help much with naming her. We'd shoot names back and forth for a while that came to mind but I finally decided on one & he's gone with it for a while now & Then he told me the other day he likes the first name we had more but that he didn't care because he was going to love our daughter regardless of her name.
@amberr_0302, OMG WE JUST HAD THAT ARGUMENT!! I told him he'd get made fun of at school, and he said "no he won't and if he does I'll go up to that school and raise hell" SMH NO! I know what it feels like to be teased, I'm not putting my kid through that!!
its like they want their children to get made of for their name? I couldn't believe him when he suggested those to me, its just ridiculous , they really need to actually look up some sensible names 😂
I love Josiah! If my niece was a boy we were going to name her Jozayah (JO-Zae-Ah) combo of Josiah/Isaiah 😊

mine has come up with cleatus and leviathan , those are the most stupid names ive ever heard of and he thinks they sound great and I'm like are you serious?!?

He hates them because he has a baby cousin named Jaden (I said we can spell it differently and he'll barely be around the little boy like that because his family is funny acting sometimes) and we originally agreed on Josiah but he stopped liking it because his mom and his grandma didn't like it

idk what your particular situation is with him but I can tell you that you don't even have to allow him to be in the room when you fill that out....so fill it out how you want and sign it and if he doesn't like it then he doesn't have to sign bc your signature is all that is needed technically. 😁
If ur not with him why would you care? I'd name him what I wanted.
I was having the same issue with my husband. If we had a boy he was dead set on his middle name being Blue. Luckily it turned out we're having a girl so that argument ended pretty quickly lol.
You write / chose the name , write or tell them to put down the name you want. I'm seriously doing that with my boyfriend if he picks some overly stupid name that my child has to live with. 😒
tell him he can't be serious he must be Lion (lyin) get it ha-ha. but I'm with you I wouldn't name my son Lion. I love both the names you want to name him.
