My OB said red wine and dark beer are okay occasionally but everyone's right, it varies so check with yours.

I'll sip on beer if my SO is having some. no more than 1, no more than 5%, and never drinking fast enough to catch a buzz. when I've done it, it's been like half over 2 hours.

@rebcamdot, lol people can be passionate about topics like this and that's ok too. Years ago I used to nanny for a family of doctors, the wife had occasional glasses of wine and her baby turned out fine.

I personally wouldn't try any alcohol while pregnant. But I have heard red wine is okay, don't know about white!

I've heard one glass of wine is okay. But that's just what I heard...

it's diverse on the wine in pregnancy. ask your ob their opinion. red wine helps reduce the swelling but you're supposed to do like one glass every once in a while. but it's matter of how your doctor and you feel towards it.
