so I met with the father of my kids behind my family's back and cuz well I wanted to see if he really changed his ways, but when he hugged me& told me he was sorry for all he put me through and that he wants to have a family with me my chest felt super weird afterwards .. what should I do ? :c

I feel the same about my sons dad but I know at end of the day he is not going to change his ways no matter how much he tries to convince me. I have been the for to long. We can be friends but that is it.
I just went through the same thing with my kids daddy & it was the worst decision of my life to take his ass back but always go with your first mind & do what's best for you hun good luck with whatever you choose to do!!
if you choose to deal with him again just take it slow..people really do change..just don't rush into it and don't get your hopes up too much..if that's the route you choose
