HELP?!

Since my doc told me they'd induce me for no medical reason, & that they'd do it just because I was sick of being pregnant, it makes me worry that they'll try to induce me just because. I'm worried they'll tell me something like "she doesn't have enough room so we have to induce" or something along those lines to get me to agree to it. But I really want her to stay in there as long as possible. Any other moms experience this?? 😣😖

you can tell them no. just tell them you dont want induced unless its absolutely medically necessary

They can't do anything unless you approve Hun, besides if those doctors have any sense at all they know it's better to try to go in naturally.

My OB doesn't seem to like me & she has always been "in & out" of the room as fast as possible. I'm throwing up still (since 4-5 weeks) & asked her for a different nausea medication two visits ago & she refused, & basically told me I was lying to her about it. I throw up blood & see stars & give myself bloody noses from throwing up so hard. I just don't trust her anymore & I feel like she will lie to me & tell me that it's "medically necessary" to induce. I'm a first time mom so I won't know if she's lying or not. @jalderman89 @pixiestix

You could always change doctors. I know it's late but it shouldn't be much of a problem @madi-girlsmama

@ktwins188, no they said as soon as I'm 37 weeks. But still. That's almost a month early!! @jalderman89 I switched once. In the very beginning I went to one doc for just one visit & I had told them I was nervous because that was my first OB appointment, & said I was really uncomfortable & they said "oh don't be it'll be fine!" They had me sitting in just their hospital gown for 45 minutes when someone finally came in and said "it'll just be a few more minutes!" & then it was another 15 minutes before I was seen. I left their office right after that visit & even walked out saying I was switching offices because of them. It also didn't help that, with it being my first visit & I was pregnant, they all seemed to stare at me with very judgmental looks & then I heard some of them making some rude remarks right out side my door, both about me & another patient that was being seen that day. I don't know if it's just my area where the doctors are bad but ugh. & the OB I see now is on the OB team at my hospitals birthing center.

@lakilucid, I want to but ugh I'm just so annoyed because I've already had to switch.

my doctor said the same thing with my last, except the earliest they would induce was after I hit 38 unless there was an emergency reason before, they even told me the hospital they go through doesn't allow inducing or scheduling a c-section before week 38 unless it's an emergency. They never lied to me, I think they were being unfront with me, I guess maybe because they get that question all the time. I asked, will you ever take her early and they gave me the whole information pack on it.

@wannaboyplz, I asked a question about some pregnancy symptoms I have & asked if they would be cause for a c-section, & she said "no but if you're tired of being pregnant we'll induce you once you hit 37 weeks or later." Which was completely irrelevant to my question.

@madi-girlsmama, it could have been a misunderstanding. I sure they get several mommas that would do anything to get the baby out. shoot I read posts everyday about it. She may have misunderstood you. I would say at your next appointment or go in and ask to speak with them and tell them your concerns. Just be Frank with them. I think switching doctors without talking to them first about the situation may be extreme.

why are people being induced when they not even atleast 39-40 weeks Preggo? I'm just like so curious 👀👀👀 ...like I know some people have health risks and stuff like that but I hope others aren't just doing it just because they don't want to pregnant or impatient or something ...my doctor not inducing me till 41 (don't know why) he just gave me a date to be induced ...even I've been kinda iffy on the idea myself!
