Any women from Oregon know how soon I'll be eligible for WIC? I will be 6 weeks on Wednesday.
What she said^ anyone see the new wic cards?! So much better and less of a hassle.
just take you proof of pregnancy...and what ever else they need..you will be approved right then.
I was eligible as soon as that positive sign popped up at the health department
@morgan_colangelo, oh okay, thank you!! :) this is very much appreciated :)
If you don't find anything online call your local office and they should tell you what you need to do.
I'm not 100% sure because I brought my first ultrasound to my appointment, it had my name and some other info on it, and I had my ID with me. You also need a paycheck stub for proof of income, but they guve you time to get that. I can't remember if there was anything else... They probably have all the info online 😊
@morgan_colangelo, do they do preg tests there or do I need like a Dr note? I'm so new to all of this and just want to be prepared :)
As long as you have proof of pregnancy I think you can apply at any point in pregnancy, they want to helo you be eat good through out your pregnancy so you and baby are healthy as can be 😊
@mylittleprincess, will do thank you :)
I looked and I don't think there's any specific gestation, just have to be pregnant (maybe with proof) go online and do the "would I qualify for wic" its not actually applying, but telling you if you would/wouldn't get approved :)
@amaresmama, @icedtia Thank you ladies :)
That's a good question. I'm in Colorado so I can't help too much if it differs there but I think you can apply when you're pregnant. Could be different in Oregon tho, I'm not sure. maybe Google it?
not from Oregon but I believe you'll be eligible now that you're pregnant. you just need proof of your pregnancy
As soon as you get a doctors note that your pregnant :) I still haven't got week lol I forget
