So my child's father left me...
and I am going to start looking for a job.
my problem is...
1 I have no one I trust to watch my daughter...
2 I get bad anxiety and panic when I think of a stranger watching my baby....
what if something happened to her?
I don't know what to do or how to get over this.
what did I do?
the government helps pay for daycare. I did it while in high school and I didn't have to pay the person watching my son because it was covered. if it was daycare I woulve only had to pay $7-$20 a week depending on my hours. but its not just for people in high school. look into it.
A lot of preschools have cameras in all the classrooms. At least ones where I live do (and the one I work at does). That should help you feel safer. Plus any good preschool won't mind you calling whenever to check on your baby or stopping by whenever to visit.
Try getting assistance through your state so you can hire someone good. Try care.com to find a sitter
I'm so sorry you are going through this :/ Like some have mentioned, maybe try working from home or find a daycare that runs through the state. Do some research & find what works best for you. good luck & hugs to you!!
Or if you have to do daycare try a daycare thats ran throught the state Id think those are better and I know they help families!
@juliagail09, how about watching kids in your home? that way you can also watch your kid and make money?
Maybe try a job that u can do at home or a daycare lol some daycares let u bring ur own kids? Food for thought??
nope none at all. my mom drinks and does drugs. and my sister has 2 kids and one on the way and works...I literally have no one. and my child's father doesn't even know how to reply to a damn text message and he never shows up when he says he's going too. so he's been pretty unreliable. idk what I'm going to do. like I literally start freaking out at the thought of putting her in a daycare or with a stranger... @des_a_rayy
in Illinois its called Action for Children, maybe its the same in your area.
