sounds like your getting ready for labor, that's what labor pains feel like, you can't sit because it hurts so bad, and you want to sit and hold your breath everytime it happens, and feels like someone is splitting your vagina open. the closer together it is the more in labor you are. I was in labor for a week. for four days constant labor they sent me home 3 days in a row and on the fourth day had I waited any longer I would have had him at home, by the time I got to the hospital I was already 9.5 centimeters

Before u become pregnant think of this
Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer

Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.

Moms,
We've seen lots of posts about moms trying to naturally induce labor quite early. If you are interested in this kind of information, you should seek the advice of a medical professional because every pregnancy is different. For educational purposes and without any judgement, here is what the March of Dimes states about babies born too early. We will also post this on our blog this weekend.
Babies born too early may have more health problems at birth and later in life than babies born lat...
