Anyone else asking family members to get the TDaP? With being induced at no later than 36 weeks, I'm really worried about exposing baby to anything unnecessarily. But my MIL just keeps asking why and makes comments that she'll be exposed just as much at Target. Like, really? The people at Target aren't going to be touching her and breathing all up in her face, you will be. It's just a shot, just go get it!
I don't expect it to work right away and I know a vaccines aren't 100% I'm still 8ish weeks away from induction, so there is plenty of time. With a premie, I would like to be as cautious as possible. No, I can't "make" anyone do anything (note my post says "ask.") but I can sure as hell decide who sees my child or doesn't.
I never get vaccines. and I'm not making anyone in my family vaccinate either. you can't really make anyone get a vaccine. plus a vaccine isn't 100% and it doesn't work immediately. takes a week or two to "work"
Believe it or not baby's pic up more viruses and illnesses from mom and dad than anyone else. Like whooping cough is mainly transfer to baby by the mom rather if you've had the vaccine or not. And it's been proven that a lot of vaccines don't prevent the virus so that's why a lot of people are against getting the shots I never get the flu shot and I've never had it but when I do get the vaccine I get the flu then my son gets it and then my husband and it gets spread in a circle and takes us forever to get rid of it now my husband has to get it but other than that we don't do the flu vaccine and I didn't make anyone else get vaccinated before holding my son when he was born
I told everybody that would be in direct contact with the baby they needed the Vaccine. If they did not receive the Vaccine they would not be permitted to hold the baby for any reason. Tends to change people's minds.
I wanted my fiance's family too and they made a joke about it. 😑
I don't know why she's fighting it so hard. She is going to be really upset when I won't let her see baby, especially if she ends up in the NICU
Help! My child is going bald is this normal for her hair to just fall out? And how can I get it to grow back?

My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
Omg ladies my 3 year old just asked me if i have sex with her daddy!!! I dodged that question so fast but ladies really my daughter is growing up too fast and too smart for her own good. I dont even know what to tell her if she ask again I thought i had a little longer before she asked that. I texted my husband telling him and he just laughed. He is no help.
I remember when I was working at target and I found out I was pregnant i told some of my coworkers and one of the girls I was really close to asked me when was I going to go to planned parenthood. . insinuating I was going to get an abortion
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
Tell her that it is for whooping cough and if the baby gets it that the baby will be extremely sick. If doesn't want get it make her where a face mask the whole time she is around you and the baby.
