they told me the same thing sunlight does my work my son was in a thing with the blue light all I could do was feed him then he went back in it for 24 to 36 hours

@pinkhearts1990, my son had it bad also he was in that blanket for four days only took it off to change him and bath him. I hated having to see him in it and get his blood taken back to back. the doctor said not to do take them out in the sun because it actually bad their skin is sensitive.

my daughter had to use the bili blanket for her first 5 days & we had to have her heel pricked every day. itll pass! i cried too! i had to supplement with a syringe & formula (because we were nervous of nipple confusion) message me if you wanna talk!

You can always take her in direct sunlight as well which will help

She didn't lose weight she gained an ounce thts it.. And hasn't popped since we left the hospital... She has it really bad.. If the light don't help they are gonna admit her..

It's normal for babies to have it. Both my daughters had it. And don't worry about the baby losing weight it happens so try not to worry
