Really close friends of mine and my boyfriends are exactly one month behind me in pregnancy. Me and my boyfriend picked our baby names before we got pregnant and stuck with them after finding out what we were having. For the boy we chose Owen Alexander McEntee. Our friends only choose a girl name because they strongly felt that's what they were having. However they just found out they were having a boy. The name they chose after finding that out is Alexander Allen.... Is it bad that I'm upset or frustrated with them for using our child's middle name or am I just being a crazy pregnant woman? Lol

I think in a way it's wrong on both ends, like it's wrong of them knowing that you picked it out and they couldn't come up with their own name, and I feel it's wrong on ur end bc maybe she and he has a logical reason for choosing that name, like maybe it actually means something to them. and if it doesn't I would try talking to them ask why they choose that name, and you feel like it's taking your thunder bc u choose that name first

I tried talking to her about it without trying to seem mad or upset just incase they did have a reason. I started by telling her that I chose that name because my parents weren't able to have a boy (instead only 4 girls) and when she got pregnant with twin boys my dad wanted to name them Alexander and Sean but she lost both. And that's why I chose Alexander. And she said she didn't like the name Zander which her boyfriend liked so they settled on Alexander so that they could have it both ways. @holliesmommytobe

does she know your story? if I had a boy I was gonna name him Austen after the father but my cousin then got pregnant and asked me not to name him that bc she wants to name her son that in honor of her sister granted the spellings was different I respected her, maybe I would explain the situation to her and that it really does bother you. and if she doesn't care then I'd say she doesn't really care about your feelings and how you feel and I'd question my friend ship that's just me tho. @1sttimemommy96
