Question about prenatal appointments: Do you REALLY need to attend the dozens they schedule you for in the 3rd trimester? I have one every week and I really can't afford to take off that much work, or even pay for the visits. Are they even worth going to? What's the purpose of seeing a doc that often? Thanks ladies.

anything can happen at any point in your pregnancy. most of your regular checkups is to check the heartbeat and see if your clear of any infections. as well some will be tests you do. they're all important as a whole. once you get to your two and one week appointments it's very nessecary. maybe see if you can set up some sort of payment plan

A lot of people can't afford everything baby. I set up a payment plan to help with all of my payments. But the appointments are necessary.

They are checking your cervix every time and doing tests. They're definitely needed
