hope it helps. at first your SO might not like the idea but my husband said it wasn't that bad. just give him something else to focus on. and he won't even realize it.

I know this will sound weird but it actually works...

have your S.O. put ice in a plastic bag and then press it against his balls.

the coldness gets the sperm moving and then afterwards have sex and that should do it.

My husband and I tried for two years and then a friend told us about that, and it actually worked. You can even research it if that makes you more comfortable.
